The Gizzmo™ system is the ultimate in defence, monitoring and control for any radio installation!

Here's how it works…

PowerGizzmo™ is the controller. It receives information from the other devices connected to it and displays it in a user-selected format. It's from the controller that you establish your protection against reflected power, using the inbuilt summary alarms. In addition there are a further FOUR assignable alarm contacts. You can utilise these additional alarms to automatically stop the transmission if the reflected power alarms are invoked. Alarm levels can be set for each device connected and the levels will be constantly monitored whether or not you are visually monitoring the SWR/RL of that particular system.

DetectGizzmo™ is an intelligent sensor that's connected anywhere in line between your transceiver and antenna. It detects the reflected power, forward power and calculates the VSWR (or Return Loss) for you. It feeds the information back to PowerGizzmo™, where it can be displayed as Watts, dBm or dBW, on either analogue style meters or bar graphs. Your choice!

The basic DetectGizzmo™ is cabled and can operate at up to 1km away from the controller. However, we can adapt the basic units so that, on larger installations, the information from the sensors can be transmitted via WAN.

There are five different DetectGizzmo™ sensors available: HF; VHF; UHF; Dual Band VHF/UHF; and SHF.

It is through DetectGizzmo™ that you set the alarm levels. What's more, you can programme alarm levels for each sensor that's connected. Even better, is that PowerGizzmo™ has an 'early warning' system. It'll sound a warning alarm and illuminate an amber light, when the levels you've set are being approached, enabling you to take preventative measures.

SwitchGizzmo™ is a range of antenna switching units that allows multiple antenna systems to be connected and routed. When the antennas are idle or the system is un-powered, the inputs are automatically grounded, giving you vital protection against static build up.  For this purpose there is a 5mm Ground Terminal provided, allowing a substantial ground to be attached.

Now, you're probably thinking that it'll take a load of equipment and stacks of money to monitor and control all your installations.
